Workshop Declan Donnellan
During the 5th edition of the Interferences International Theatre Festival, Declan Donnellan, Artistic Director of Cheek by Jowl, will lead professional actors in an exploration of principles from his book The Actor and the Target which may enable them to feel more free in their work, in areas they feel blocked.
Young Critics Seminar
The IATC is organizing a seminar for young theatre critics that will take place during the Interferences International Theatre Festival. The seminar is led by Diana Damian Martin, writer, theatre critic, curator and member of IATC. The group consists of young critics with ages between 18 and 35 years.
Young journalists UTE
The three-year program named CONFLICT ZONES is a series of conferences, master-classes and residences which will take place in UTE member theatres and associated Festivals. These events are dedicated to the exploration of the conflicts that gave shape and continue to shape Europe since the beginning of the Great War.
The program wishes to focus on the new generation of young theatre critics. In this perspective, it developed a multilingual online platform on which around twenty young European cultural journalists publish articles of different types (critics, studies, portraits of artists and so on).
