Young critics seminar in Cluj

The International Association of Theatre Critics (IATC), in partnership with the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj, is organizing a seminar for young theatre critics duringthe INTERFERENCES International Theatre Festivalfrom November 29 - December 5, 2014.
 

Professional critics between the ages of 18 and 35 may apply for the seminar groups which will be held in two languages, French and English. 3 spaces in each language group will be reserved for local applicants from Romania. The workshops will be led by experienced theatre critics Jean-Pierre Han (France) and Mark Brown (Scotland), members of the IATC board.
 

Applications should be submitted as a single PDF file and include a short (one-page) CV2-3 writing samples (e.g., critiques published in professional forums), and letter ofrecommendation from the leader of the IATC association of the applicant's country.Participants will be provided with accommodations, meals, and tickets for the festivalperformances at no cost, but must cover their own travel expenses. Participants are expected to arrive on November 29 and may depart on December 5.
 

Deadline for applications: October 10. Applicants for the French workshop should write to Jean-Pierre Han (jp.han@free.fr), while those for the English workshop should contact Mark Brown (markbrown.teatro@gmail.com).
