INTERFERENCES in the program of UTE's CONFLICT ZONES

The Union of Theatres of Europe (UTE) is launching a three year program under the title CONFLICT ZONES which aims to explore conflicts that have influenced the European mentality since the First World War. Performances and events createdduring this three year period will deal with the possibilities of processing these conflicts and the program (that creates a network between the member theatres of UTE) will be monitored by young theatre professionals.

The Hungarian Theatre of Cluj will participate in the project with the 4th Interferences International Theatre Festival. During the festival, which will run November 26 - December 7, there will be a meeting of five young European journalists. This brainstorming session will be the first stage in publishing a multi-lingual European theatre magazine, and participants will discuss the challenges of performing in different countries and multilingualism. The young journalists will participate at the Seminar of Young Critics included in the program of Interferences and organized by the Hungarian Theatre of Cluj in partnership with theInternational Association of Theatre Critics.
