Armed with a laptop or a small video camera, touring with his theatre company or wandering the world alone, Pippo Delbono communicates fragments of his life and thinking. Sometimes the tone is gentler, as in a dialogue with his  mother; or when a medical examination leads to a classic piece of Italian comedy. A film of great freedom, Amore Carne is a journey into the present, in the company of friends.
